The Weights and Measures calibration truck was fabricated / assembled with a Ford F-350 chassis and a custom aluminum body.  The body features three stainless steel holding tanks.  This design and layout will allow the customer easier access to connections at local service stations for testing all the necessary fuel meters without pulling a trailer behind a truck.  The new aluminum body has pull-out and adjustable shelves in addition to heavy slide-out trays for the customer to carry test weights inside the body at all times.  The body configuration also has a slide out step assembly to improve access to the three (3) provers on the stainless holding tanks.  The previous, trailer mounted, 100 gallon prover, transfer pump and hose reel are now mounted in the cargo area of the body.
