This tanker was built on a customer supplied 2003 Freightliner FL-80 chassis. The body is an all aluminum wide body style tanker. The water tank has a capacity of 3500 gallons of water. There is a CET diesel powered pump installed in the left side compartment. The pump is plumbed to the water tank for discharge purposes only. There is one (1) 2 ˝” discharge at the pump and one (1) 1 ˝” discharge at the right side compartment. There are three (3) Newton electrically operated stainless steel dump valves at the rear of the apparatus. The dump valves are equipped with manually operated stainless steel telescopic extension chutes. There are two (2) direct tank fills at the rear panel of the apparatus, one (1) is a 2 ˝” fill and the other is a 4” fill with storz adapter. The folding tank shall be stored at the rear of the apparatus in a tunnel through the center of the tank above the rear dump valve. The apparatus is equipped with a Code 3 lighting package which consists of a halogen rotating light bar and upper rear beacons. The low level warning consists of all LED flashers. There is Weldon 12-volt scene lighting at each side and at the rear of the apparatus. The apparatus is also equipped with a Federal Siren and speaker and a set of Grover “Stuttertone” air horns.
