This pumper for Dike, IA was built on a Chevrolet C8500 chassis with a CAT C7 diesel engine and an Allison automatic transmission.  The water pump is a Waterous CS 1000pm single stage pump.  The pump and controls are mounted in a side control pump house equipped with Gortite rollup door at each side of the pump house.  Above the pump controls there is storage for a stokes basket and long boards.  The cross-lays are vertically stacked at the top front of the pump house.  The bottom cross-lay is supplied with a removable tray to aid in repacking hose.  Below the cross-lays there is storage for four (4) spare SCBA bottles at each side.  The apparatus body is an all aluminum structure with high side compartments and Gortite rollup doors at each side and rear.   There are numerous shelves and rollout trays installed for storage of equipment.  The ladders and pike poles are stored in a slide in rear compartment at the right side with hard suction hose at the left side.  The apparatus has a 1000 gallon Poly water tank with a 20 gallon foam cell for future hookup.  The truck is equipped with all Whelen halogen emergency lights and siren.
