This pumper/tanker apparatus for the Kekoskee Fire Department was built on a Sterling LT9500 chassis. The apparatus body is an all aluminum structure with slide in in ladder and hard suction hose storage, ladders right side and suction hose left side, with rear door. There is a Ziamatic Quic Lift portable tank system installed at the right side of the body recessed into the body side. The pump on the apparatus is a Waterous model CS with a rating of 1250 GPM midship mounted with a side control panel. The pump is supplied with a Foam Pro 2001 foam injection system. A Foam Pro Power Fill is also installed for filling purposes. The pump is equipped with (2) gated 6” suction inlets, (2) 2 ½” auxiliary inlets, (2) 1 ½” cross-lays, (1) 2 ½” cross-lay, (5) 2 ½” discharges, (1) LDH discharge w/3” valve and 5” storz adapter, and a 3” deluge discharge equipped with a TFT Extenda-Gun. The water tank is United Plastics Fabricating 3000 gallon water/30 gallon foam Poly Tank IIE. At the rear of the tank there are (3) Newton manual operated dump valves with manual telescoping chutes. Low at the rear, under the rear dump valve, is (2) 4” tank fills with butterfly valves with 4” cam lock adapters. The tail lights on the apparatus are Whelen LED and the entire warning light system is Federal LED with halogen scene lights.
