The apparatus is built on a Peterbuilt 330 chassis with a 330 H.P. Cat engine and Allison EV Series automatic transmission. This pumper is equipped with a Waterous CSU 1500 gpm pump with Foam Pro 2001 injection system. The water tank is 1000 gallons with a 20-gallon foam cell. The pumper body with a top control pump operator’s panel is completely built from aluminum. The body compartments were designed to fit the fire departments needs. The compartments are full depth, approximately 25” deep, full height on both sides of the apparatus. Suction hose, pike poles, and an attic ladder are stored in two (2) individual compartments at the top of the body compartments with a rear door. In the right rear compartment of the apparatus there is a 4-bottle 4500 psi cascade system with control panel and fill chamber. The ladders are stored through the water tank above the rear intermediate step with a horizontally hinged lift-up door. On the pump there is two (2) 6” air actuated butterfly valves and one (1) 2.5” auxiliary inlet provided. The discharge plumbing of the apparatus is all stainless steel w/Akron 8800 Series quarter turn ball valves. There is four (4) 2.5” discharges, (2 left, 1 right, 1 rear), one (1) LDH discharge at the right side with 3.5” Akron valve and 5” Storz adapters, and one (1) deck gun discharge. There are two (2) 1.5” speed lay discharges provided under the pump control panel, which are plumbed with foam capabilities. The apparatus is equipped with a Harrison 10KW hydraulic generator to provide power to the four (4) 1500 watt Extenda-Lites, one (1) Hannay electric rewind cord reel with GFE junction box, and any other outlets provided. The truck is supplied with a Federal light bar, upper rear beacons, and front and side LED flashers. At the rear there are four (4) Code 3 7”X9” LED flashers to provide additional warning to the rear of the truck. A Federal siren and speaker provide audible warning on this custom built rescue style pumper for the Town of Lawrence Fire Department..
