Aluminum Bodied 16ft Walk-in Rescue
This all aluminum body, 16’ walk-in rescue unit was built on
a Kenworth T300 low profile chassis equipped with air ride suspension.
The exterior compartments are supplied with standard hinged swing
doors. There is four (4) adjustable shelves w/lights in each tall
compartment. In the compartments over the rear wheels there are SCBA
bottle storage provisions with an access door under the interior SCBA
seating. The interior of the body is equipped with large interior
cabinets with sliding Plexiglas doors and two (2) adjustable shelves
in each. There is a Ziamatic Multiple Bracket Holder at the right
front for storage of four (4) additional SCBA units. Over the rear
wheels there are a total of four (4) SCBA seating locations, two (2)
each side, with seat belts. Above the side entry/exit door there are
four (4) Streamlight Lite Boxes mounted for easy access w/charger
bases. The apparatus is equipped with a Harrison 6KW hydraulic
generator for supplying AC electrical current. The apparatus is
equipped with six (6) Akron 500 watt fixed position recessed mounted
lights, two (2) each side and rear. There are two (2) Akron 500 watt
telescoping lights mounted one (1) each side at the front of the body.
A Hannay electric rewind cord reel is supplied with 200’ of 10/3 cord
and Akron junction box for remote power. Plus the apparatus is
equipped with numerous 120-volt outlets both inside the body and
inside the compartments for electrical service. Federal Signal
emergency lights and siren supply the apparatus with warning lighting.
Realwheels stainless steel wheel simulators finish off this highly
functional and great looking rescue apparatus for the Marathon City,
WI Fire Department.
