Built on a HME Custom chassis with a 300 h.p. Cummins, and an Allison automatic transmission. The pump is a Waterous 1250gpm single stage midship pump with a FeeCon “around the pump” foam system. Pump discharges include 1-front bumper trash line (1.5”), 3-1.5” speed-lays, 3-2.5” side discharges (2 left, 1 right), and a deck gun discharge. The two 6” inlets have air-operated butterfly valves and the 2.5”inlet is a manual actuated valve. The pump is controlled by a Class 1 “Captain” pressure governor and a Class 1 ENFO III, along with all Class 1 pressure gauges. The water tank is a Poly Tank IIE with a 1000-gallon capacity and a 20-gallon class “A” foam cell with MC Products 4-light water level gauge. The body is all aluminum construction with dual high sides and Amdor type rollup doors. There are also (4) SCBA bottle storage compartments in the rear wheel wells with CPI doors. The ladders and suction hoses are stored next to the tank with rear aluminum diamond plate doors. The extension ladder and roof ladder are stored at the right side and the suction hose, folding ladder, and pike poles are stored at the left side. The apparatus is equipped with a Power Arc warning light package and a Code 3 siren and speaker. A Federal Signal Q2B siren is located on the front bumper with (2) two manual foot switches on the cab floor, 1-each side, with a siren brake switch. There are (4) Extenda-Lite telescoping lights mounted, (1) each corner of the body. An on board Smart Power hydraulic generator runs the telescoping lights. The truck is also equipped with an Akron Hi-Riser deck gun with lift off capabilities and a portable base.
