This apparatus is built on a Ford F550 chassis with a Powerstroke diesel engine with an automatic transmission. The body is an all aluminum flat rack structure equipped with two (2) compartments, one (1) each side at the top of the flat rack, equipped with Gortite roll up doors and two (2) small underbody compartments ahead of the rear wheels. At the rear center of the flat rack is storage for three (3) lengths of 4” x 10’ hard suction hose in an aluminum diamond plate enclosure with rear door. At the rear body corners there are trays/mounts installed for storage of one (1) portable pump and (2) Honda EU2000 generators. At the interior of the body between the upper side compartments there is a custom mount for the departments gasoline powered ice auger. At the top of the compartments there are two (2) Fire Research FOCUS tripod lights mounted, lying flat, for easy removal as needed and (2) Fire Research FOCUS telescoping lights on custom made tip up mounts to raise the lights from the lying down storage location on top of the side compartments. The apparatus is equipped with a complete Whelen Super LED warning light package.
