This refurbishment of the Rudolph Fire Department Engine 1 consisted of replacing all of the aluminum diamond plate with new and completely repainting the entire apparatus. SCBA bottle compartments were added to the rear wheel wells and a full size compartment was added at the upper rear panel of the apparatus body with hinged doors. The pump and plumbing were checked over with new valve kits being installed where applicable. The apparatus was also updated with new Code 3 halogen low-level flashers and Realwheels stainless steel wheel simulators.
