This rescue was built on a Chevrolet C5500 crew cab style chassis with a Duramax diesel engine and an Allison automatic transmission.  The body is an all aluminum structure equipped with Gortite aluminum roll up doors.  Inside the body compartments there are numerous adjustable shelves and slide out trays including a large 1000lb full extension Slidemaster slide out tray in the rear center step compartment.  The top of the apparatus body is equipped with coffin style compartments with lift up doors for additional storage of equipment.  The left side coffin compartment is only equipped with a rear opening door which has access to the pike poles and ladder storage at this location.  The customer supplied cascade system bottles are mounted transversely across the frame at the front transverse compartment.  The cascade fill station is located in the right front body compartment.  The apparatus is equipped with a Powerall 6kw under hood generator.  The generator powers multiple receptacles both interior and exterior plus two (2) Fire Research FOCUS 750-watt/120-volt recess mounted scene lights, one (1) each side.  The 12-volt warning light/scene light package is all Code 3 halogen.
