This truck was built on the customer supplied GMC Model 8500 chassis with Duramax diesel engine.  The body is all aluminum w/two large compartments ahead of the rear wheels equipped w/Gortite rollup doors.  In the left side compartment there is a Hale HPX300-B18 Max Stream pump w/pump panel and controls.  The right side compartment has a Hannay electric rewind booster hose reel w/200’ of 1” booster hose and an Akron pistol grip Assault nozzle.  There is one 1.5” pre-connect discharge located along the left side of the body with the capability of holding up to 200’ of double jacket fire hose.  At the right side there is a folding tank bin w/a rear door.  The folding tank bin has a plastic lined floor w/a stainless steel roller at the rear for ease of loading and unloading the supplied 1600 gallon folding tank.  The apparatus is equipped w/a 1500 gallon UPF Poly Tank.  There are two Newton 10” dump valves provided on the apparatus w/flip down extension chutes, one rear and one driver’s side front.  There is one 2.5” direct tank fill located at the right rear panel of the apparatus.  The apparatus is also equipped w/two Class 1 Intelli-Tank water level readouts, one at each dump valve location.  The completed apparatus has all Code 3 warning lights, arrow stick, scene lights, tail light clusters, and siren.
