WELLMAN, IA ~ Wet-Side Tanker on Commercial Chassis

Built on a customer supplied, used 1980 Ford F-700 chassis. The customer also supplied the Darley pump. Custom Fab and Body installed new control rods and handles along with Class 1 master and individual pressure gauges. The pump panel was made of brushed stainless steel. The body consisted of lower skirting compartments, (1) each side, ahead of rear wheels, which was made of aluminum. The water tank is a UPF Poly Wet-side 1800 gallon tank, which was painted to match the chassis and body. There is (1) Newton stainless steel manual operated dump valve installed at the rear of the tank. On each side of the dump valve there are (2) 2 ½” direct tank fills installed using Akron valves. The customer supplied light bar, siren and speaker were reused. New taillights, clearance lights, compartment lights, and upper rear rotators were installed.
