This tanker update for Allendale, MI consisted of removing the 5000 gallon aluminum aircraft refueling tank from the existing chassis and mounting on a new Sterling LT9500 chassis. The tank was completely stripped down and repainted with two (2) new EJ Metals NewMaddic dump valves mounted at the front of the tank at each side and remounting the existing Newton manual dump at the rear of the tank. A Darley LSP 1000GPM PTO pump was added on the truck mounted midship in a custom fabricated pump module to fit around chassis mounted components and equipment. Aluminum diamond plate compartments with rollup doors were added to each side of the body, front and rear, of the rear wheels. The warning light package was upgraded with a PowerArc LED lightbar and Whelen Super LED flashers. Lettering and striping was installed to match the existing department apparatus.
