This pumper-tanker for the Alpha-Mastodon Fire Department was built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis equipped with 4-wheel drive and a MBE 330 horsepower engine.  The water pump is a Waterous CXVPA 1000 GPM PTO operated pump.  The pump supplied (2) cross-lays and 2 ½” discharges at each side and rear.  The water tank is a Pro Poly 1800 gallon tank.  The tank is equipped with three (3) manual Newton Quick-Dump valves and telescoping extension chutes.  The body is an all aluminum structure with a set of compartments ahead of the rear wheels equipped with Gortite rollup doors.  There is a hard suction hose compartment at the left and a folding tank compartment at the right, both with rear doors.  The apparatus is also equipped with a Honda 5000 watt gasoline generator.  The generator powers two (2) 1000 watt bottom raise scene lights.  The warning light system consists of a Code 3 low profile Excalibur light bar and Federal halogen flashers.  The apparatus is finished with a set of Realwheels stainless steel wheel covers.
