This pumper/tanker was built on an International 4400 chassis w/330 HP diesel engine and an Allison automatic transmission. The pump is a Waterous CXVPA 1000 GPM PTO pump midship mounted w/numerous discharges and preconnects. The pump system is also equipped with a FoamPro 1600 foam injection system w/20 gallon foam cell. The water tank is a UPF 2000 gallon tank and is equipped with (3) Newton electric dump valves and 36” manual telescoping chutes. Also at the rear was a single 3” direct tank fill terminated w/2-1/2” threads and a 5” direct tank fill w/a 5” storz elbow, which was equipped w/a 5” storz X (2) 2-1/2” female swivel Siamese adapter w/plugs. The body was all aluminum “Wide Body” structure w/Gortite rollup doors. At the rear was storage for the ladders and hard suction hose at the right side and a folding tank at the left side. Both compartments have aluminum diamond plate doors enclosing them from the rear. The apparatus was equipped with all Code 3 warning lighting, halogen upper rotators, LED lower.
