This mini-pumper is built on a Chevrolet C5500 crew cab chassis with a 330HP diesel engine with an Allison automatic transmission.  A Flamefighter bolt-in SCBA seat module kit was installed in the rear crew cab in place of the standard seating provided with the chassis.  The pump is a Hale AP 500 GPM PTO pump installed with a side control pump panel.  The body is an all aluminum structure with a rescue style body layout equipped with ROM aluminum roll up doors.  The apparatus has a storage compartment under the hose bed and above the water tank for hard suction hose, pike poles and an attic ladder.  The water tank is a 300-gallon United Plastics Fabricating tank.  The warning lighting is all Code 3 with halogen light bar and LED flashers.  The apparatus is also equipped with a 6kw under-hood generator, which supplies power to two (2) Fire Research 500-watt telescoping lights, two (2) Fire Research 500-watt tripod lights, one (1) Hannay cord reel with junction box and body mounted outlets.  The apparatus is also equipped with two (2) Hannay hydraulic hose reels for use with the extrication tools.  A Ramsey 8000lb removable winch is also provided with the apparatus with mounting points front and rear of the apparatus.  Realwheels axle and lug nut covers finish off this apparatus for the Berkshire, NY Fire District.
