This “Wet Side” tanker for the Bruce Crossing Fire Department was built on an International 7400 chassis. The “Wet Side” tank was manufactured by United Plastics Fabricating and has a capacity of 3000 gallons. At the rear of the tank there are (3) Newton model 1050 manual dump valves installed, (1) each side and rear. There are (2) 2 ˝” tank fills located (1) each side of the rear center dump valve equipped with Akron ball valves. The body and sub frame for the “Wet Side” tank is all aluminum construction with a large compartment each side ahead of the rear wheels with (2) separate doors. The apparatus is equipped with a Darley HM500 PTO pump midship mounted. The pump has (1) 4” inlet and (1) 2 ˝” discharge both at the left front compartment along with the control panel. The apparatus is equipped with all Code 3 halogen warning lights and siren. Realwheels stainless steel wheel simulators and aluminum diamond plate cab step and fuel tank covers finish this tanker apparatus
