This rescue is built on a Chevrolet C5500 crew cab, 4x4, chassis with a Duramax 330HP diesel engine and an Allison automatic transmission.  The body is an all aluminum 12' walk around rescue unit.  The compartment doors are Gortite aluminum roll up doors.  The compartment interiors allow for numerous options for shelves, slide out trays, tool boards and equipment storage systems.  At the front and rear of the apparatus there are provisions for mounting a portable winch with a 2" receiver and 12-volt power points.  A PowerAll 6kw under hood generator unit is installed onto the engine of the chassis to supply 120-volt power to the apparatus mounted lights and outlets.  At the rear of the unit two (2) Fire Research 500-watt tripod lights are mounted one (1) each side of the rear compartment and there are four (4) 120-volt/20-amp twist lock outlets supplied on the apparatus body.  The warning light package is an all Whelen LED system with 12-volt scene lights, siren and speaker combination. Realwheels stainless steel axle and lug nut covers finish this great looking and highly versatile rescue unit.
