This tanker for the Chelsea, VT Fire Department was built on a Freightliner M2 112 chassis.  The apparatus body is a complete poly body "Unibody" structure built by United Plastics Fabricating, UPF, with a steel sub frame and Gortite rollup doors. The 2500 gallon body/tank is equipped with (3) Newton stainless steel electrically actuated dump valves.  There is (1) dump at the rear center and (1) each side of the apparatus between the rear tandem wheels.  Also at the rear is a single 3" tank fill with an Akron valve and 4" storz elbow and cap.  The apparatus is also equipped with a Hale Q-Pak 1000gpm PTO operated mid ship pump with side control panel.  The pump has (2) 5" inlets, (1) 3" auxiliary inlet, (2) 2-1/2" discharges, (1) 2-1/2" cross-lay and (1) 3" LDH discharge with 4" storz.  The apparatus is equipped with a manual drop down portable tank bin at the right side and has storage for (4) lengths of hard suction hose at the left side.  The warning lights on the apparatus are all Code 3 halogen including the taillight clusters.  The 12-volt scene lights are Weldon 26°.  There is also a Federal Q Siren recessed into the right front bumper of the apparatus.
