This pumper is built on a Chevrolet C8500 chassis with a diesel engine and automatic transmission.  The fire pump is a Waterous CS 1250GPM single stage midship pump controlled from a top control pump operator's panel.  The water tank is a UPF 1500 gallon capacity tank equipped with a single dump valve located inside the rear step compartment.  The apparatus body is an aluminum body with dual high sides and Gortite aluminum roll up compartment doors.  There is a ladder storage compartment located at the right rear of the apparatus with an aluminum diamond plate door.  The hard suction hose is stored in a compartment at the left rear of the apparatus body with an aluminum diamond plate door.  The apparatus is equipped with all Whelen LED warning and tail lights.  A PowerAll 6kw under hood generator provides 120-volt power to body mounted receptacles and two (2) Akron 1000-watt telescoping scene lights.  Realwheels stainless steel wheel simulators finish this great looking apparatus for the Granger Fire Department.
