Commercial Rescue
This rescue is built on a Kenworth T-300 chassis with a 360HP diesel engine and
Allison Automatic transmission.
The rescue body and crew cab are completely built from aluminum. The crew cab is a separate module from the cab
and body with seating for five (5) in SCBA seats, three (3) across the front and one (1) each side at the rear.
Between the rear forward facing seats there is a command desk with storage underneath. There are also interior
cabinets at the front and rear upper crew cab corners full with of body. At the exterior of the crew cab there
are four (4) storage compartments, two (2) each side of the body, with the front having a transverse area above
the frame rails and below the interior seating. The apparatus body is a walk around style body with roll up doors
and coffin/hatch compartments located at the top of the body each side. The compartments are equipped with
numerous slide out and slide out/tilt down trays. The right rear compartment is equipped with a cascade control
panel and fill chamber along with a slide out tool board with tripod lights installed. The rear step compartment
is supplied with two (2) hydraulic hose reels to allow preconnection of rescue tools. The apparatus is equipped
with an Onan Protec 30kw PTO generator unit with Fire Research FROG governor control. The generator supplies
power to multiple outlets, a Command Light light tower at the top of the apparatus body, two (2) Hannay cable
reels with Akron junction boxes, recessed side Fire Research FOCUS lights and a refrigerator at the left front
compartment. The warning light package is an all Whelen Super LED package with electronic siren and a Federal
Q-siren recessed at the left front bumper. Realwheels stainless steel wheel covers finish off this great looking
and highly functional rescue apparatus for the Kronenwetter, WI Fire Department.
