Aluminum Bodied Pumper / Tanker

  The chassis is a Freightliner M2 2-door with a 330 HP Mercedes-Benz engine and automatic transmission. The pump house and body was constructed entirely from aluminum with two (2) large compartments, one (1) each side, ahead of the rear wheels. The compartment doors are Gortite aluminum rollup doors. The pump is a Waterous 1250 GPM CXV PA PTO driven pump. The pump is supplied with two (2) 6” inlets, five (5) 2-1/2” discharges and two (2) 1-1/2” cross-lays. The water tank has a capacity of 2000 gallons. There are two (2) 2-1/2” direct tank fills at the rear. The apparatus is also equipped with three (3) Newton electrically actuated dump valves with controls at the rear and in the cab. Each dump valve is equipped with a automatic, gravity, flip down extension chute. The apparatus is equipped with all Federal halogen warning lights, siren and speaker. There are chrome plated Grover “Stutter tone” air hors on the chassis hood and Realwheels stainless steel wheel covers installed to finish off this pumper/tanker for the Little Rice, WI Fire Department.
