This pumper for the Moravia, IA Fire Department was built on a Chevrolet C8500 chassis. The body is an all aluminum structure with high compartments at each side and slide in ladder, hard suction hose storage with rear door at the right side. The pump on the apparatus is a Waterous CS pump rated at 1250 GPM and is equipped with a Foam Pro 2001 foam injection system. The pump is equipped with (2) 6" inlets, (1) 2-½" inlet, (2) 1-½" cross-lays, (5) 2-½" discharges, (1) 1-½" rear discharge, (1) 1" booster hose reel discharge and (1) 3" deluge discharge. The control panel is a top control panel with Class 1 valve control handles and pump/engine controls. The water tank is United Plastics Fabricating 1250 gallon water/20 gallon foam Poly Tank IIE water tank. At the rear step compartment there is a Newton manual operated dump valve with telescoping chute installed. The apparatus warning lights are Whelen halogen flashers including the taillight clusters. There is a Power All 6kw under hood generator system installed to supply 120-volt power to (2) Akron 1500 watt telescoping lights, (2) Akron 750-watt telescoping lights, (1) Hannay cable reel with Akron junction box and multiple outlets. The apparatus was equipped with a full line of loose equipment to meet NFPA and ISO requirements upon delivery.
