This unit is a 1983 Pierce with a LTI ladder.  The unit was totally stripped down and repainted to customer’s specifications.  All new aluminum diamond plate was installed on the apparatus including the cab headliner and rear passenger riding area headliner.  All the apparatus pump valves were completely rebuilt including the discharge relief valve and control.  The ladder discharge pipe seals were also replaced.  A stream shaper and a set of quad stacked tips were added to the deluge gun located on the platform.  Warning lights were added to the apparatus to meet NFPA specifications including a Federal View Point split 4-pad light bar and Code 3 low-level halogen flashers.  A new Weldon tail light cluster was installed along with new clearance lights.  A Gillette Gen-Pro diesel generator was installed and wired to existing outlets on the body and the Fire Research telescoping lights on the platform. Turtle Tile compartment flooring was added to all compartment floors and shelves.  Real Wheels stainless steel wheel simulators were also added to the apparatus.  When completed the ladder was recertified to NFPA specifications.
