This pumper/tanker is built on a Spartan Metro Star chassis powered by a Cummins ISL425 diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission.  The pump is a Hale QMAX pump rated at 750 GPM. The pump is plumbed to three (3) crosslay discharges, two (2) 1 ˝” and one (1) 2 ˝”, a 1” booster reel, a 4” LDH discharge and multiple 2 ˝” discharges.  The inlets are equipped with Hale MIV valves including the rear suction inlet.  The water tank is a United Plastics Fabricating 3000 gallon tank equipped with two (2) 3” Firemen’s Friend fills at the rear and an electric Newton stainless steel dump valve with swivel chute and a telescoping extension chute.  The body is an all aluminum structure with Amdor aluminum roll up doors.  There is ladder storage at the passenger side of the body, outside, along with one (1) hard suction hose length.  The other hard suction hose is stored in an aluminum diamond plate compartment above the high side compartments at the driver side.  Two (2) pike poles are also stored at this location.  There is also a slide in portable tank compartment at the right side with a rear door.  The warning light system is an all Whelen Super LED system including the scene lighting.  There are two (2) Whelen Pioneer telescoping lights at the back of the cab and a Pioneer Brow light at the front. Six (6) Whelen 900 Series 24-LED scene lights also are installed two (2) each side and two (2) at the rear.  Realwheels stainless steel axle and lug nut covers finish off this great looking and multi-functional apparatus for the Tri-Village Vol. Fire Company in Preston Hollow, NY.
