This rescue is built on a Chevrolet C5500 cab and chassis with a Duramax diesel engine and Allison Automatic transmission. The apparatus body is an all aluminum structure equipped with ROM roll up doors with built-in LED track lighting. The apparatus is equipped with a cascade fill station with fill chamber and panel at the left front compartment. The left front compartment is also equipped with a Hannay electric cable reel. The remaining compartments are equipped with numerous adjustable shelving, slide out trays and tool boards. The rear and center of the apparatus body is equipped with a 225-gallon Poly skid tank with a Darley 2BE 18H engine driven pump installed. The pump supplies water to a 1 ½” preconnect, which is stored in a rear step compartment, and an additional discharge off of the pump discharge manifold. Also at the rear center is storage for a stokes basket and backboards with a hose bed/storage compartment built in above the basket and board storage. The apparatus is equipped with all Whelen LED warning lighting. There is a PowerAll 6kw underhood generator that supplies 120-volt power to four (4) Fire Research 750-watt Optimum telescoping lights. Stainless steel lug nut and axle covers finish off this multi-functional apparatus.
