This unit was built on a customer supplied GMC chassis with Duramax diesel and automatic transmission. There was a utility style body installed on the chassis with an open space between the compartments. The open space is where the UPF Defender 2 200 gallon skid unit was installed. At the rear of the skid unit there was a CET Mid Range portable pump installed. The pump is plumbed to a electric rewind booster hose reel at the top of the water tank. There are also discharges off the rear of the apparatus for 1-1/2” fire hose. A Scotty “around the pump” foam proportioner was installed to the discharge side of the pump supplying foam to all the discharges. The apparatus is equipped with all Code 3 halogen warning lighting and Federal audible warning systems.
