Built on a Sterling Acterra chassis with a 330 h.p. Mercedes-Benz diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission this tanker body is all aluminum construction.  The water tank has a capacity of 2400 gallons and is equipped with three (3) Newton stainless steel dump valves.  The side dump valves have stainless steel manual telescoping chutes and the rear has an aluminum diamond plate flip down chute.  There is one (1) direct tank fill at the rear 4” with a butterfly valve and a hand wheel actuator.  There is a customer supplied CET diesel powered pump installed in the passenger side compartment.  The pump is plumbed from the tank with a 3” tank to pump and a 1” tank refill line.  There is one (1) 2-1/2” discharge supplied off of the pump.  Lighting on the apparatus consists of six (6) Weldon 26? 12 volt scene lights, two (2) each side and two (2) at the rear.  Warning lighting consists of a Federal Vista light-bar with a combination of halogen rotators and LED flashers, Federal Sentry upper rear beacons and Code 3 LED perimeter lighting.
