This brush unit for Sullivan, WI was completely stripped down to the bare pickup truck bed and rebuilt. The existing water tank was reused and mounted on a raised platform that incorporated three (3) individual slide out trays that are the full length of the pick up box. The existing water pump was also reused and mounted at the rear of the bed with the control panel and valves mounted in an easily accessible location from the ground. A new Hannay electric rewind booster hose reel was installed at the top of the water tank and is equipped with 200’ of 1” Neidner Reeltex booster hose. At each side of the center raised platform there was a slide out compartment installed, which has the capability of holding up to two (2) lengths of 1 ½” discharge hose each. Aluminum diamond plate compartment boxes were also installed at each side of the tank for additional equipment. At the left front corner of the pick up box an Akron 12-volt HID Nightbreaker telescoping light was installed to provide scene lighting.
